Housing First

Tucson's “Housing First” outreach program is connecting unsheltered individuals to housing while offering homeless services by John DeSoto

Housing First is the City of Tucson’s approach to helping those who are experiencing homelessness which is managed by the Housing & Community Development Department. Housing First is an evidence-based approach to ending homelessness that centers on quickly moving people experiencing homelessness into independent and permanent housing, and then providing additional supports and services as needed.
