Featured on the March 23th, 2023 edition of ARIZONA SPOTLIGHT with host Mark McLemore:
- Throughout her barrier-breaking life, Linda McCartney found success with photography, music, cooking and raising a family – much of it accomplished in and around Tucson. The University of Arizona Center for Creative Photography now has “The Linda McCartney Retrospective”, including nearly 200 photographs and never-before-seen images showing her love for the desert and for family, friends like Jimi Hendrix, Aretha Franklin, and The Beatles.

- Tucson’s classical music community, and those of us at AZPM, both suffered a tragic loss in February with the passing of pianist, teacher, cat lover and friend, Paula Fan. She was one of the brightest and most engaging people you could ever hope to meet. Even on top of her busy schedule of teaching and performing around the world, Paula Fan always found time to contribute more to the things she valued. That included countless hours volunteering to AZPM during our pledge drives. Longtime friend Dr. Rex Woods, an accomplished pianist and professor emeritus at the Fred Fox School of Music, wrote a personal tribute to his friend and mentor, Paula Fan.
