One of America's most distinctive indigenous musical styles, barbershop quartet singing, has maintained a following for the last century because of its smooth sound, durable repertoire and the way it evokes nostalgia for old-time Americana.
Tucson is currently serving as host for the 2012 Midwinter Convention of the International Barbershop Harmony Society, a gathering of barbershop harmony groups of all ages from around the globe.
Joining us to perform in the AZPM Studios is the Tucson-based quartet Touch of Grey, comprised of Jim Hart (lead), Ken Sylvia (bass), Don Lightfoot (tenor) and Bill Archambeau (baritone).
