A Tucson government advisory committee will hold a public hearing Thursday on proposed changes to the City Council ward boundaries.
The city reviews the population in each ward every four years, according to a news release, and attempts to get them to about equal population.
Since the last redistricting effort in the beginning of the decade, the populations in Wards 4 and 6 have grown and Wards 3 and 5 have fallen below theaverage.
The meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 255 W. Alameda St.
