The typical president of a public university in the U.S. earned $428,000 this fiscal year, the organization found.
Arizona State University President Michael Crow has an annual salary of $606,200. Crow is the 31st highest paid public university president in the nation.

Hart is not however the top earner on the UA’s payroll.
Head basketball coach Sean Miller is at the top, earning more than $2.2 million, according to The Chronicle of Higher Education. The UA salary database lists his pay at $2 million, the same as head football Coach Rich Rodriguez. Several physicians on the university payroll also earn more than Hart.
