The Paradise, Season 2: Episode Eight

Clémence returns, bringing emotions to a boil. Sunday at 8 p.m. on PBS 6.

Clémence has returned, “large as life and twice as French,” as Sam says. This time she isn’t selling her wares, and instead seems to be fleeing her past. But she hasn’t arrived alone – a man who holds her secret is in close pursuit, and a chance encounter threatens to alter her life forever. Clémence’s arrival is an opportunity for Tom Weston, who is gleeful at his prospects, while also tormented by his demons. In the end, it will all come down to one fateful, high-stakes moment. Will all that has been be regained, or has the blush of misfortune stained the Paradise forever?
