The U-S House approved a bill Thursday that would rescind funding to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
The vote to rescind the funding for CPB and some foreign aid passed the House 214-212. Four House Republicans joined Democrats in voting to leave the funding in place.
The eight members of Arizona’s congressional delegation voted along party lines, meaning Southern Arizona Representative Juan Ciscomani and the other Arizona Republicans voted to take the money back from public broadcasting.
